Day 24/366 – My family aka the Nike Lunar family.
It was a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
My family and I were enjoying an assortment of chips and veggies with an occasional dip.
The SF 49ers and NY Giants were playing on the tube.
I smirked as I noticed my nephew and brother both had kicks from the Nike Lunar family.
My 3-year old nephew escaped out of his: Nike LunarGlide 3’s in Stealth/Metallic Silver-Black-Volt.
My brother’s feet were comfy in his: Nike LunarSwift+’s in Black-Charcoal-Green. Now, an educational tip beyond just a picture (researched at runningshoesguru):
The LunarGlide is lighter than most light support shoes. First shoe to introduce Dynamic Support which consists of softer foam contained into a harder shell. There is a TPU (plastic) reinforcement on the medial side of the midsole, to give even extra support. The use of FlyWire on the upper ensures a tight wrap of the foot.
The LunarSwift is a tempo/racer shoe at an affordable price point. It uses the same Dynamic Support system as the LunarGlide but does not have the TPU (plastic) insert or FlyWire technology. As a result, it provides less support than the LunarGlide.
…just something to tuck away in your back pocket for a rainy day (like today)! 🙂
