Day 72/366 – Last pair, in his size and in his preferred color way. Adam’s Cole Haan LunarGrand Wingtips!

Name: Adam

Hometown: Myrtle Creek, OR / Currently residing in: Portland, OR

Education: he will be studying Theology at Eternity Bible College starting in the fall.

Adam enjoys: making furniture with his hands. The appreciation for the product, once finished, is so much higher. He also enjoys getting haircuts from his girlfriend who is a talented hair stylist.

Adam’s is inspired by regressive styles; he then enjoys adding his own flare to the mix. His southern Oregon roots have him incorporating a lot of lumberjack and work wear. His favorite places to shop are Urban Outfitters and a variety of 2nd/3rd hand thrift stores. Adam strives to carry himself with confidence and to dress to the glory of God.

Kicks on Adam’s feet: Cole Haan LunarGrand Wingtips in Volt.

He ordered these kicks over the phone from the Cole Haan SOHO store in Manhattan, NY. They only had one pair left in the store – they happened to be in his size and in the color way that he wanted (it was meant to be!). Adam figured it’s a crazy shoe – you might as well pick a color way with a stark contrast. He recently walked around downtown Portland for 3 miles in them and his feet felt great. Just like they would after wearing a running shoe but with a sophisticated look. They are breaking age barriers – a variety of people of different ages have stopped him to inquire for details in hopes that they could track down a pair. Last but not least, Adam mentioned: “I’m going to wear them and don’t care if they get dirty.” 🙂 Word. Thanks for sharing your exclusive kicks (and rad style) with us, Adam!

Background information: Nike recently linked up with Cole Haan to create a hybrid dress shoe that features a wingtip designed upper while sitting overtop a Lunar sole. It’s collaboration as it’s finest. Color ways for the ladies via Cole Haan are pictured below… (I have my eyes on the first!)
