Kicks on Fitz’s feet: Nike SB P-Rod 5’s in Black/Volt
Fitz picked these up at the Nike Employee Store 3 weeks ago. He’s a big fan of the color way – he likes how the predominant swoosh on the quarter is black on black. The nubuck upper is super soft. The volt midsole just pops. From a far away glance, one might think they are a running shoe rather than a skateboarding one. Fitz grew up skating in Southern Cali – he sports these kicks proudly because: 1. He can and 2. He knows any skater would love them as much as he does!
You know when you first meet someone and are instantly convinced they are going to do great things in this world? Fitz is that guy! He’s currently volunteering his time as a tennis director of Portland After-School Tennis & Education (PAST&E), a Nike Tennis-supported program that develops young athletes from underprivileged families into successful tennis players and high school graduates. Fitz fell in love with the sport while working as a front desk clerk at a private tennis club the summer before his senior year of high school. He’s played competitively and has even met his favorite athlete, Roger Federer! Thanks for sharing your clean kicks and for being an inspiration to many, Fitz!
