Day 109/366 – LAIKA/house Shoe Wednesday #6. Alix Iverson, Production Liasion.

Today marks LAIKA/house Shoe Wednesday #6! “LAIKA/house is a world-renowned commercial animation studio located in Portland, OR. I captured 14 kicks and 14 stories in 2 hours on a Shoe Wednesday with the help of Greg from Greg Helton PhotographyThe plan is to feature one LAIKAn every Wednesday for a total of 14 weeks. I truly believe you can tell a lot about a person by the kicks on their feet…so I’m excited to share what I found on the inside among this creative bunch!”

Name: Alix Iverson

Role @ LAIKA/house: Production Liaison

Kicks on Alix’s feet: Nike Dunk High ‘Coralines’

She received this pair as a gift when the movie was released back in 2009. Alix wears them daily – they are comfortable and fun. They came laced with one black and one blue – she kept them that way. Alix owns a variety of cowboy boots, tennis shoes and high heels. Her daughter is a frequent user of her tallest high heels around the house. 🙂

Real figurines from the movie are pictured below! I can’t believe the size and level of detail! They are mini living creatures.

A global advertising campaign recently launched to introduce the first Xperia™ smartphones from Sony. The campaign – ‘Made of Imagination’ – kicked off on March 24 with a 60-second commercial, directed by Academy Award® nominee, Wes Anderson. This is the first phase of the Made of Imagination campaign, which will be deployed across TV, print, digital, out-of-home and retail, and will roll out over the course of 2012. You’ll see Alix’s name is listed in the credits for the commercial below!
