Day 148/366 – Best of both worlds. Pizza and Nike Roshe Run’s.

This evening, I had the pleasure of dining with a friend (and true Italian) at Via Tribunali who was wearing the highly coveted Nike Roshe Run’s

If you’re craving the taste of Italy (minus the airfare), this is the restaurant to visit. It’s right next door to Voodoo Doughnuts on SW 3rd in Portland. Their Neapolitan-style pizzas are fired in an authentic brick oven made of Vesuvian ash for about 45 seconds…molto bene!

Now, the Nike Roshe Run. Simple yet elegant silhouette designed by Dylan Raasch in Nike Sportswear. He has been practicing meditation since he was young; the concepts of Zen and simplicity play an important part in his life. The name of the sneaker came from the word “Roshi,” which is a title given to a Zen master. Dylan designed the sneaker to be as simple as possible while still keeping it comfy and looking good! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!
