Day 165/366 – LAIKA/house Shoe Wednesday #14. Travis Ezell, Taperoom Operator.
Today marks LAIKA/house Shoe Wednesday #14! “LAIKA/house is a world-renowned commercial animation studio located in Portland, OR. I captured 14 kicks and 14 stories in 2 hours on a Shoe Wednesday with the help of Greg from Greg Helton Photography. The plan is to feature one LAIKAn every Wednesday for a total of 14 weeks. I truly believe you can tell a lot about a person by the kicks on their feet…so I’m excited to share what I found on the inside among this creative bunch!”
→ Update: there will be one more LAIKA/house Shoe Wednesday after this one. I stopped by to capture one more pair of kicks… I will call it a BONUS. Keep your eyes peeled for it next Wednesday.
Name: Travis Ezell
Role @ LAIKA/house: Taperoom Operator. He has been with the company for ~4 years.
Kicks on Travis’ feet: Deer Stags Men’s Oxfords
Purchased at Ross. Perks: they were in Travis’ size, they are black and can be dressed up (fact: he enjoys dressing UP when he doesn’t have to) or down.
Did you know? Travis is a super talented Portland-based screenwriter and filmmaker. He’s created 10 short films and has directed all but 1. He’s been a finalist twice for the Sundance Institute’s Screenwriters & Directors Lab. Check out his website ICE-NINE FILMS to learn more!
