About the technology: Nike+ Training recently introduced the Nike LunarTR1+…a revolutionary training shoe with embedded in-shoe sensors that capture every jump, step and rep in real-time. During each drill or challenge, data and feedback on your workout is delivered to your phone via the Nike+ Training mobile app. You can create daily programs based on how hard you want to train. The app allows workout statistics to be shared and compared with your friends via social networks; encouraging friendly competitions and jockeying for top rankings. Nike pro athletes and trainers demonstrate each drill and motivate you during every session.

About the sneaker: The Nike LunarTR1+ features the latest version of Flywire technology, made of super-strong, ultra-lightweight nylon cables. The dynamic cables tighten during multi-directional movements and sudden bursts, enhancing support and lockdown when you need it. The inner sleeve conforms to the foot for support and comfort while strategically placed overlays help keep it centered. An external heel piece lends a supportive rear foot fit, and the outsole stability feature helps keep the foot from rolling during side-to-side movements. The training shoe features Lunarlon cushioning; a soft yet resilient foam core encased within a supportive foam carrier for lightweight, ultra-plush cushioning, springy response and support. Foam in the collar enhances heel lockdown, and a Nike Zoom unit in the heel offers low-profile cushioning.
