Day 279/366 – News flash…Nike sneakers in three countries at ONCE!

The Hochman family (one of my favorites) was thoughtful enough to send over this simple yet compelling story for 366daysofkicks. I met them in Portland. They now live in Amsterdam. They seize each and every day by partaking in a plethora of adventures just like the one described below. [Special plug: I am going to visit in May 2013 and I can’t wait.] Check out their Hochmans in Holland blog to simply be entertained by this wonderful family + to learn a lot of interesting facts! For example:

Bike racks are two levels high at train stations. The upper rack slides down to make it easier to muscle your bike onto the upper rack.

Now, onto the photo below:

From Juliet…“A few weeks ago, we went to the spot where the borders of Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium all come together in one point (called the drielandenpunt which means three country point). We thought it would be funny to take a photo of our Nike’s straddling the borders of three countries.”

Pictured below from L to R: Juliet, Steve & Thomas. Thank you for sharing you three! 🙂
